Our featured shirt this week is 1970s Juventus:
Juventus are the most successful team in Italian football with twenty seven Serie A titles to their name. In the ‘70s they were prolific. They won five Serie A titles, the Coppa Italia and managed to reach the final of the European Cup. In both the 1972 and 1973 title triumphs they were to beat AC Milan to the top of Serie A by a single point. Their further three titles were impressive, winning by five points in 1978 from Lanerossi Vicenza. At the forefront of their success were players such as Roberto Bettega and Franco Causio.
